Doodles, the heart of art

Because we would not have art if people had not first doodled on walls, because some of the smartest people in the world wouldn't be able to think if they didn't do it to keep their minds busy enough to think clearly (see Bill Gates, not my favorite person but ya gotta give him credit lol). So now without further delay: doodles!

Some tattoo designing fun

Among other things as a tattoo lover I enjoy designing flash for friends and whomever asks really lol. I like to play with the styles and actually designed quite a few very cutesy tats because frankly I don't think there are enough silly designs in the world. Most designs do still tend to be directed towards men, even today, so thats what motivated me to make girly tattoos :)

This tattoo idea was a design that I did for a suicide girl to get her children's names in the banners.
This was a custom design for a writer in my life.

This was designed both on and off the computer. Some day it will grace the top of my left thigh.

Yay girly tattoo!

With this last dragon that I drew i have never seen a dragon drawn with truly hot flames so I decided to give blue and white flame a chance and i really like the way that it turned out.
This is  a small collection of my tat designs cause this blog could go on forever if I kept adding them all but if anyone would like to see some more let me know and I can post them.
Have a great day everyone :)

My One

This is a pretty quick drawing that I did of Gordon during the CoSM Alex Grey Valentine's day couples retreat. It was my job to be his sacred mirror. He is convinced that he doesn't look nearly that cat like but I just keep reminding him of that Leo strut ;)

Polymer clay angel

I began sculpture in clay in grade school. Once I no longer had a kiln available to me I switched to polymer clay. In some ways I prefer it because I can work on a miniature scale. I usually don't make anything taller than 4 inches and I make scenes small enough to fit in the smallest egg bubbles that you can get out of vending machines. Unfortunatlly its a bit difficult to photograph the smaller items which is why I have chosen to share my angel with you. As I said I love detail, each feather on the wings was individually made and applied and each hair on her head is an individual 'strand' of polymer clay. She is one of my best polymer achievements if i do say so myself :).

reascue kitty drawing

This is Fanny, she is missing one ear and is all the more beautiful from it.
Back when I was about ten or so I volunteered at the Performing Welfare Animal Society in California. One of my jobs was cleaning the cat room, I also photographed them. One day one of those photographs became a drawing many years ago. Graphite is the medium that I have been using longest and am most comfortable with which is probably why i spend so much time doing other things. I feel that I should always be pushing myself to get better and learn new things.
But there's still nothing like old faithful :)
