wraps away

Here's my latest few wraps, two days of work. Boy are my hands messed up :P i made a few more but my internet sucks and its too hard to upload them all. Enjoy my chaos and order. Some of them are made with hidden bales so that the stone or piece of glass will appear to hover on whatever you chose to hang it/string it on. you can always see more of my work and purchasing information if anything strikes your fancy at https://www.facebook.com/groups/128713963872046/

doodle e doo

I've been bad keeping up on my blog lately. The creations keep coming but the whole photographing part keeps falling to the wayside. But today I took photos so today you get to see my latest doodle.
I call it "ascending the stairs"

Butterfleye

At camp Bisco I found that I felt like I was having a much fuller festival experience if I took time to sit down and craft. I had a pair of dollar store butterfly wings and remembered that I had a pack of googlie eyes so I whipped out the fabric glue and went to work. This was the result which was part of my ensemble for the epic Shpongle performance.

Firefly 3D Pour Art

I saw a video of the pour painting tech a few months ago on youtube and thought it was beautiful, little did i know that i would soon have the opportunity to make one of my own. After climbing the lush green hill and looking out over the valley I found a pour art station. I used a mix of latex and water based paint to create a lovely crackle finish upon drying. I recommend giving this a try to everyone. its just a piece of balsa wood screwed onto a thin piece of plywood. Place on a flat surface with protection for over-pour.  Pour slowly for more control and be sure to use large amounts because the more pour over you have the better the effect and make sure its about the consistancy of house paint. it will of course take a VERY long time to dry. Happy pouring

Let the feathers fly :)

I love feathers and have been making hair pieces as well as earrings for a while now. Until recently I have only had enough stock for the CoSM onsite store but I finally went crazy and made a whole bunch so I thought I'd share.
